For seniors and people living with physical or mental disabilities or poor health, shopping for groceries and preparing healthy food is a struggle. Our Meals on Wheels program is there to help. Nutritious meals are prepared by a registered dietician and delivered six days a week with a smile from caring volunteers.
Hot meals are based on a four-week rotating menu and include meat or vegetarian options; potato, pasta or rice; vegetables; dessert, and bread & butter. The choice of meat includes beef, chicken or fish.
Frozen meals have a choice of soup or dessert.
Special dietary requirements include: diabetic; pureed or minced; no salt added; lactose-free; and allergy or intolerance preparation.
No, we do not offer meals on Saturday but you can always order an extra meal on Friday and have it for Saturday. Or you can order 7 meals per week through our Frozen meal program.
